Protecting Our Forests

Caledonia Forest isn’t just a pretty face either. Trailblazing a conservation mission that could potentially plant millions of trees in the Tri-Star State, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their goods go directly to protecting woodlands right here in Middle Tennessee. Slated to open in 2025, Caledonia Forest is opening a 500-acre wildlife habitat and forest conservation park in Dover, Tennessee. The park will feature hiking and walking trails through mature forests, while also planting new woodlands for the benefit of future generations.  Goals for the forest conservation park also include creating a sanctuary for wildlife, safeguarding hundreds of native plant species, and implementing educational opportunities to teach our children about the importance of protecting our green spaces.

As temperatures are steadily on the rise across the globe, climate change is no longer a far-off threat, but a daily reality. The clear cutting of forests significantly contributes to greenhouse gas emissions. Trees naturally imbibe carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as part of their feeding cycle. They store the carbon dioxide in their stems and trunks, and in turn release the oxygen that we breathe. When a forest is cut down, all of that stored carbon dioxide is released back into the atmosphere.  Caledonia Forest is breathing new life, and fresh air, into the fight for our native woodlands. By planting trees and reclaiming vital forests, Caledonia Forest is steadily working toward a massive endeavor to save our wild places. The forests that are essential to our very survival.

Sadly, deforestation is happening at an alarming rate all over the world, including in our local communities. The places we call home. Wildlife is being displaced and killed, as its natural habitats are being stripped away. Thousands of species of native flora and fauna are being eradicated. Our woodlands are being methodically torn down in the name of “progress”. To a lone individual it may feel hopeless, a losing fight, almost insurmountable. But there are beacons of hope in the darkness, helping us to find the way.

The Forest Ambassador Program with Caledonia Forest

Caledonia Forest is one of those guiding lights, a starting point where a new beginning can emerge. They are fighting not only for the body of our Earth, but for her soul. What are we doing as decent human beings if we aren’t fighting to protect the woodlands that provide us with the fresh air we breathe and clean drinking water? What legacy are we leaving for our children, and future generations, for a greener tomorrow? We are at a crisis point and the time to act is now. Become a Forest Ambassador with Caledonia Forest today at https://www.caledoniaforestambassador.com/.

The Forest Ambassador program with Caledonia Forest enables supporters to make a monthly financial contribution, starting at only $5.00 a month, to support their mission of land acquisition for conservation. Forest Ambassadors with Caledonia Forest will have a direct impact on establishing future forest parks throughout the United States, with the potential to save countless trees, and to preserve wildlife habitats. The patronage of Forest Ambassadors will also facilitate hands-on educational programs for schools, while playing a pivotal role in the planting of new forests. Caledonia Forest is committed to planting five trees in honor of each of their ambassadors, a significant contribution in the fight against deforestation.
